Therapy for Chronic Illness
For when your body has become a daily negotiation.
Chronic illness changes the shape of a life. The diagnosis is one moment, but the living-with-it is every moment after — the appointments, the medications, the energy calculus that decides what you can and can't do this week, the way relationships quietly reorganize around what you're capable of. The emotional weight of all that is its own thing. And it deserves its own therapy.
I work with people navigating chronic illness with a personal understanding of what that entails. Not from a textbook — from a life. I won't ask you to explain pacing, medical PTSD, or what it's like to be the patient who knows their condition better than the urgent-care doctor seeing them at 11 PM.
